Q&A

Why is your heart in this work?

In my world view grants, especially government grants, are intended to effectuate change and improve the lives of all people. Often “good” change does not happen on its own, but when the right circumstance of opportunity, leadership, and sufficient funding align – grants have the power to change our world for the better (i.e., community partnerships, public safety, quality education/training, medical research leading to improved health outcomes, clean air/water/environment, public parks/greenspaces, etc.).

What's your at-work super power?

Persuasive writing, attention to the details, and an expansive grant-related knowledge base.

How do you like to spend your time when you're not working?

Camping, fishing, reading, wood-working and a variety of home related DIY projects.
